All motivational work is set every Friday and needs to be completed by the following Friday, ready for marking.
Your Motivational Workbook needs to come to school every day, and go home with you every night.
Here is a run-down of what you need to complete each week:
1. Spelling words: a look, say, cover, visualise, write, check (L.S.C.V.W.C) FOUR times a week.
2. Spelling words: Find dictionary meanings for the 15 phonics sound words and write them in your motivational work book. Remember to write the phonics sound in red pencil in each word.
3. Spelling words: write each word in a sentence. This ensures that you know the meaning of the word and how to use it in your own writing.
4. Reading: Literacy Pro - You need to read a book and complete the quiz at your level.
5. Mental Maths: Mental maths sheets will be given out every Friday and you will only need 5 minutes a day to complete the columns.
